Electronic Arts revealed that their upcoming shooter Medal of Honor will receive the limited edition treatment later this year.

For just $0.00 more than the standard retail price, players will gain exclusive access to the MP7, as well as two new multiplayer weapons, and day-one access to the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns (which can be accessed in game by all players by ranking up).

If you pre-order the limited edition, you’ll also gain access to the game’s multiplayer beta, which is currently only available on PC and PlayStation 3 but should be hitting the Xbox 360 sometime soon.

The Medal of Honor limited edition will be available on October 12 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Map pack 4 is out!

Alright Ladies and Gentlemen! New Map pack 4 is out so my suggestion is you turn on your machines, download it from the in-game store and get right into the action!

Atacama Desert Rush mode - A Russian Naval Group is preparing a massive amphibious assault. Defending the shore are 3 U.S fortifications and a string of artillery defenses. Deteriorating weather and sandstorms, U.S. Command has consolidated all available forces to meet the Russian threat.

Port Valdez Conquest mode - Russian Forces are poised to attack the harbor in an attempt to seize the Trans Alaskan Pipeline. No fallback exists for either side, this engagement will decide the outcome of the war.

The map pack is available with a VIP code, which is included in every new copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. A VIP code can also be purchased via the in-game store.
PC users will not need a VIP code and will receive the new map pack via an in-game patch.
